The numbers keep coming in for a complete Trump sweep and mandate. Trump’s electoral count is up to 291, and Harris’ languishing at 226. The issues: (1) State of Democracy (top concern for 34% of voters); (2) Economy (32% voter concern); (3) Abortion/Women's Rights/Health (14%); Immigration (12%); Foreign Policy (4%). Trump, since 2020, gained increases in these voting groups: Latino (+27%), Black (+3%), Asian (+12%), Women (+7%), Ages 18-29 (+13%), and Ages 45-64 (+9%). Harris’ campaign, a 107 day rush, could not counter or undo 9 years of Trump dogma. Democrats also fell short in communicating facts, successes, solutions, and plans to everyday Americans. The World Is Changing Again…. As Trump has repeatedly said, “Let the states’ decide”. State power is now going to be key in passing important legislation. As an example those states with abortion rights initiatives experience a 7 out of 10 win (MT, NV, AZ, CO, MO, NY, MD passed rights for women to seek abortions, while FL, SD and ND voted down such women's rights).
