“A View From the Bridge: The Future of Door County “
Kuhns’ monologues are known for their entertaining, positive, energetic, science -based story telling based on his world travels and experiences. In this new monologue, “A View From The Bridge”, Roger Kuhns poses the question, “How can Door County towns be sustainable communities?” This monologue offers a positive outlook on how every Door County town or village can work in a sustainable way by incorporating the three spheres of: community, economy and environment. Kuhns offers a hopeful view of growing into the challenging future , which at times seems overwhelming and hopeless.
Roger Kuhns is president and founder of Sustain Audit, LLC, a sustainable practices consulting firm based in Connecticut. Holding a PHD in Geology, he has over 30 years of professional experience as a geologist, sustainable practices scientist, manager and team leader for natural resources and environmental projects (80 countries) and business development, and is a problem solver, educator, and innovator.
This event is paired with a Door County Land Trust Hike at 4:00 pm lead by Kuhns at Lautenbach Woods located across the street from Woodwalk. check out www.doorcountylandtust.org and choose events to sign up for the hike and monologur together or you can just come for the monologue and music.

Woodwalk Gallery and Events barn is located at 6746 County G, south of Egg Harbor one mile off Hwy 42. Call to reserve general seating inside the gallery and a pre show picnic table. Doors open at 5:30 pm No reserved inside tables. Feel free to BYO wine, we have beer, soda and pie for sale. Showtime 7 PM, with house band “Small Forest” opening. Monologue/music Tickets $20 cash.

Dr. Roger Kuhns’ new full length movie about the Niagara Escarpment and its geological history especially in Door County, Wi. With a beautiful soundtrack, on location filming and fun animation, this movie makes clear so many interesting features of the Escarpment.
Gibraltar student Earth Day Art reception will start at 5:30 in the Link Gallery and Small Forest will be playing in the Fireside Lobby before the movie. There will be an After Chat so you can ask Dr Kuhns questions.
